Our Studio is not easy to find if you don't know the area. So I'll try to give you a good idea where we are. Our new studio is located @ 730 Ponce de Leon Place next to Urban Body Fitness. We SHARE the building with Urban Body Studios ; our entrance in the BACK of the building. Next to our building there is a gym call Urban Body Fitness which belongs to our landlord. In front of our building there is a doctor's office called INTOWN PRIMARY CARE.
To park you have to drive down our driveway which is to the right of our the building. The drive way to the left side of the building is to exit the building.
Our building is the third building to your left if you are coming from PONCE DE LEON AVE. The first building is a big orange building call PARIS ON PONCE, the second is a storage place, the third building is UBS (URBAN BODY FITNESS).
If you are coming from downtown, you are going to pass Cactus Car Wash on your right, WHOLE FOODS, BORDERS, HOME DEPOT shopping center on your right. Right after the Whole Foods shopping center, you will go under a bridge (train tracks) and you are going to take the next left into Ponce de Leon Place. Chipotle is going to be on your right and Paris On Ponce (the orange building on your left)-
Once you get to our building (the 3er one) go to the second drive way (the one on the right of the building) you can find parking right there...
Remember: in the front of the building there is a doctor's office. Please see the photo below so you get an idea of what I'm writing here...
If our parking lot is full, you can go pass the front door of our building and to the right there is a ramp that will take you behind the parking lot to a gravel area where there are parking places. Either that or you can exit the building and down the next driveway (towards the stop sing on St Charles Avenue, the next building to the right). The driveway belongs to URBAN BODY FITNESS. Go down and you can either find parking right there or if you keep going and you veer to the left there are parking places available as well on the gravel.
Also know that you can park on Ponce De Leon Place right in front to the main entrance of the studio (there are four spaces before the no parking sign) and also there are plenty of parking spaces on San Charles Ave. NE. (which is the big street by the stop sign a few yards from the entrance of our building)
Plan on arriving a few minutes earlier if you are coming to a night class where gym next door gets full so you don't have to be irritated if you happen to not find a parking place right away.
Getting to the Studio via Marta:
Getting to the studio is very simple using Marta. Get to the North Ave Rail Station, and then transfer to Bus line #2. The bus will stop right at Ponce de Leon Rd and Ponce de Leon Place (in front of Kroger's). Then of course it is a short walk to the studio. Marta's trip planner is very handy. From Downtown:
If you are coming on Ponce De Leon from downtown, after you cross MONROE you will pass CITY HALL EAST on your right, on your left there is a light to go into the parking lot of Whole Foods (Border's, Home Depot,
Staples etc) .TAKE A LEFT AT THE NEXT LIGHT AFTER YOU PASS WHOLE FOODS AND CITY HALL EAST ON PONCE DE LEON PLACE (there is an arrow at light)-
We are the THIRD building on your left. The entrance in at the back of the building. Enter in the parking lot after the third building in BETWEEN Urban Body Studio andUrban Body Fitness.
From Decatur or Freedom Parkway:
IF YOU ARE COMING FROM DECATUR on Ponce, pass Freedom Parkway and take a right on Ponce de Leon Place.
Once you turn onto Ponce de Leon Place, our building is the first one (the WHITE one), once you pass it, you will find the parking lot and then Urban Body Fitness. The front of our building it says "Midtown Family Care".
Is Be Hot Yoga Atlanta part of Urban Body Studios?
We are sharing the bathroom and shower facilities with Urban Body studios. But we remain an independent business from them. To take a Be Hot Yoga class you have to pay our regular fees at the Be Hot Yoga studio.
